HOPE. RESPECT. UNITY

Dear DSASTX Families and Friends,

Summer has been full of smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories at DSASTX! Our campers have been having an incredible time making friends, exploring new adventures, and creating lasting memories. It's hard to believe we're already looking ahead to the start of a new school year! We hope everyone enjoys the rest of their summer break and has a safe, fun-filled few weeks before classrooms are back in session.

As we gear up for an exciting fall, don't forget to register for our 26th Annual Walk & Stroll! Early Bird Registration ends August 3, so now is the perfect time to sign up, start a team, and invite your family and friends to join us for one of our favorite celebrations of the year.

We're also counting down the days until our Missions Family Baseball Night on July 18! We can't wait to see so many of our families together for an evening of baseball, fun, and community.

Thank you for being part of the DSASTX family. We hope you enjoy this month's newsletter and all the exciting updates, events, and opportunities happening across South Texas. See you soon!

With gratitude,

Executive Director, Brian Lopez & Team

Thank You for Supporting Our Mission!

We are incredibly grateful to the amazing Flores family and our friends at SA Flavor for their incredible support during Fiesta! Earlier this year, they created and sold a special Fiesta medal benefiting the Down Syndrome Association of South Texas. Thanks to the generosity of our community, more than 200 medals were sold, raising an incredible $2,226 to support our programs and services.

Their dedication to giving back and raising awareness for the Down syndrome community is truly inspiring. Every medal purchased helps us continue empowering individuals with Down syndrome, strengthening families, and promoting inclusion throughout South Texas.

To everyone who purchased a medal and helped make this fundraiser such a success, thank you! Your generosity and support make a meaningful difference, and we are honored to have community partners who believe so deeply in our mission.
