HOPE. RESPECT. UNITY

Dear DSASTX Families and Friends,

As August brings a new school year, we want to wish all of our students, parents, teachers, and school staff a wonderful, successful, and safe year! Whether your family is starting a brand-new journey or returning to familiar routines, we hope this year is filled with learning, friendships, growth, and plenty of reasons to celebrate. As we settle back into our school-year routines, we also want to remind you that the 26th Annual Walk & Stroll is just around the corner! Join us on October 3 for one of our favorite days of the year...a day filled with family, friends, community, and celebration of individuals with Down syndrome. If you haven’t registered yet, now is the perfect time to sign up, build your team, invite your friends and family, and start fundraising. Every registration, donation, and share makes a difference! Help us spread the word by sharing the event with your school, workplace, church, family, and friends. Together, we can make this year’s Walk & Stroll our biggest and most impactful one yet!

With gratitude,

Executive Director, Brian Lopez & Team

SHARING OUR STORIES, SHAPING THE FUTURE

Thank you, UTH, Dr. Elizabeth Hanson and to the wonderful parents who joined us last Friday! We’re so grateful to UTH for hosting a parent panel and creating space for their students to hear real-life perspectives and experiences from families living with Down syndrome.

Our community loves sharing what individuals with Down syndrome are capable of and how the right resources, support, and opportunities can make all the difference.

Thank you for helping us build a more informed, inclusive, and supportive future!
